The 90s were an auspicious time. It was a pretty good decade to be born in if you look at it a certain way. We were too young to remember a time without color television and we were too old to have our brains completely nuked by short-form video content before we reached high school. We got to spend time on the internet before it was all slop and we got to watch MTV while there were still music videos but we also got to enjoy Teen Mom at the perfect age. We got Rugrats and Hey Arnold but missed Cocomelon. 

There's a lot to be thankful for in this. I wouldn't want to have been born in any other decade, for real. Sure, it would have been fun to be a teen in the 70s, but I don't look very good in flare jeans. Okay, that's a bald-faced lie I just told to make myself feel better.
